Sebastian Tuinder

I'm an Emmy nominated filmmaker and journalist. My work is focused on science, technology and the natural environment.

 

I grew up in South Africa, but have called Brooklyn, NY home for nearly 10 years. My work has taken me across the USA, but also around the world. I've covered a variety of sensitive and complicated topics like coastal pollution, nuclear weapon modernization, and the exploitation of gig workers in developing countries.

I also have experience in corporate, or branded, video production; elevating strategic marketing and communications strategies.

You can find me either on my bicycle or with a camera in-hand. Sometimes both at the same time.
